aMOR pLATONICUS

A Poem by Freddie Stradlin
"

reflections on a personal relationship of mine

"

i love your inconsistancies,
i tie them up with string

I love your eccentricities,
and the Fact that you can't sing

i love the way i make you laugh,
until your eyes run dry

i love the way i dont love you half
as much as you love i

i love your crooked imperfect smile,
when you vise me near

I love your openness whilst,
im dispelling all your fear

I love the way we simply don't
have any bad days

i love the way question you won't
My frivilous whims and ways

Most of all, the thing i love
Is the fact that we're just friends
We'd never make it out as lovers,
so here's where it ends
