What a Vegan Eats

What a Vegan Eats

A Poem by f. ann
"

I was vegetarian for a year and I quit that lifestyle....but I am now thinking about becoming a vegan. This was produced due to my boredom.

"
Stock-still meat intimidators sit on
Freezing grocery shelves.
Spicy this, and salty that!
Free of preservatives and less fat.
Overcooked microwaveable cuisine
With small sweet-tangy sesame seeds
are a vegan's mouth-watering sight to see.
Squishy squash and sautéed eggplant
that drips grease and wreaks of vinegar.
Forks constantly dance with slippery noodles
and chase after rolling carrots;
Everything on the square plate must be consumed.
All meals are paired with natural water
or freshly squeezed fruit juice.
Although the vegan life doesn't seem
bad, probably just alright, I still can't
pass up a good quesadilla anytime.
