The Truth You See

The Truth You See

A Poem by Reclaimed
"

"""the man, in the looking glass... is looking back at you again'''' handsome boy modeling school

"

I'd like to wring his neck like a rubber duck

Throw the carcass over my towel rack, to dry

Ever take the darkness in, and then break it out again

Outside... for every single one of us

To see clear in catastrophe

Not now, nor was it ever, a right within the fight in us

The very best of us;

To see clear through life the opaque

To see; (sober under ether)

That's a gift; too easily faked

This s**t I baked

For you

Mostly it's for you

And fake

I'm no dry good, you see

You're wet

To feel

The touch

Goes far beyond what we see

So here

Half baked is what I am to you

And that's for you to see

Insane

Like a cartoon reel

A gift to get through the day

We all write to prompt a day

The one that's all to rea;l

The one you've givin' up

The truth you see;

It's you who give's it up

My gift is to show you the day

Your light is to show me my way

(to need what you want is to be god)

The light and the darkness
