Law Abiding Anger

Law Abiding Anger

A Poem by poeticsafari
"

Within every person's life there is a point in time where you reach your own brink, and it is what action you take at that time that defines who we really are

"
As I try to scream as loud as humanly possible, I am only allowed to yawn holding onto what little grasp of reality I have left, I struggle to maintain control; quickly losing the fight. My teeth begin to mash as my fingers turn into fists holding on for as long as possible. Out of breathe, entire body trembling. Hold on I say to my self, you have got to hold on, but the anger never subsides only to lay dormant until the sight has been sought again. Coming back ten times stronger, I wonder why I am able to hold it off, but with no answer given I don't know what to tell my self. Only to take the reigns away essentially ripping my twisted dream out of even my own hands. For if I cant blood shall be spilled, tears will be shed and a smile will shine over all. So I ask my self which is better the sinful smile or the half broken heart
