I've Been

Nightmares, fears, and pain,

But it doesn't go away.

Sorrow, grief and disbelief,

But it all feels the same.

I've been hurt.

I've been used.

I've been stepped on.

I've been bruised.

I've been broken.

I've been confused.

I've been pushed.

I've been accused.
