All Insane

All Insane

A Poem by Tara-Rist

insist i should lie in the dirt
making a grave so you peel
down my short skirt

throw me a bone and see
if I sniff around and beg
and bleed at the knees

careless and truely perverse
beaten up body
dragged thoughtless and un-nursed

mingle; the mind intrudes
on a place less chaotic
how empty the smiling illusion illudes

cigarettes placed; smothered
in cups, on skin, on earth
and dirty worked hands withered

leather bound prophets lies
tied to the wall
with a spectrum of cries

just strangling us all from inside
with a fake smile
like there's no s**t to hide

crippled us, me, users of users
smuggled in comfort
and turned into sadistic abusers

i'm still eating dirt instead of meat
and climbing and endless wall
damp and exhausted from heat

chapped hands, coarse and bound
and dried with dark blood
mouth parched with hell's sound

bitter after-remark left in my brain
tearing my dreams
driving us all mad, all insane
