Insanity.

Insanity.

A Poem by Chaos
"

The mind is vast with creativity.

"

Whoosh, whoosh the summer breeze tussling my hair

To the left and right; guiding my head toward the sun,

My eyes squinting to protect them from the light

Crick, crack goes my lawn chair as my a*s settles in

Splitting apart the green and red tethered fibers to

Accommodate my girth which wasn’t there years ago

Scratch, scratch as my watch goes over the oxidized

Metal handles that are leveled just right as I bring my

Hand to meet my face to shield my eyes from the sun

Silence, silence as my feet work their way into the sand

Watching each grain fall gracefully between my toes

As if they have a plan to their journey of complete autonomy

Crash, crash as the irony of the sea crash harshly on the shore

And then tenderly and effortlessly return to fill the ocean

Once more and replenish the sea with its mystery

Knock, knock on the green painted door

of my white cotton manicured walls

of the padded cell that systematically;

annoyingly interrupted my trip to the beach
