Just a little limerick - for fun

I once had a wonderful dream

of a girl who was a little obscene

she took off her clothes

and then touched her toes

and so I ran away with her jeans

Actually, they were just jeans - but I guess a pair of blue jeans pretty much symbolizes the good old days when the USA was young and cocky and thought she knew what she was doing... ;)

I can't speak for other people, but I like good grammar, correct spelling, and elegant use of language. I guess a lot of people are OK with sloppy grammar and disjointed sentences - but for me they are distraction from the content which spoils even a good poem or story.

Really good idea, but doesn't quite scan. Would work better like this:
"I once had a wonderful dream:

and then tuched her toes
so I ran away with her jeans

oh...we have a saying here where i am...
never give your old clothes away to someone...and never wear anothers old clothers...cause along with clothes you part away with your spirit...
along with thier clothes you dress in their spirit..
just wanted to share...

That's an interesting saying - reminds me of the one about mirrors - never stand between two mirrors - because your reflection carries part of your spirit - and between two mirrors you are reflected to infinity and your spirit becomes too thin

I think if I didn't wear other people's clothes I'd have little to wear - a bad habit I guess...

oooh i din know about the mirrors....and standin in between...
its like marrying precious piety to awesome sin
..and what do i do when at the barbers for a beard shave?...the durn place is full of mirrors on all walls..does that make you jane?....well lets ask tarzan...but then you are you...and thats so true...
oh u can stitch your own fabric im sure...with moss and seaweed...with roots and dry seed...with bark and creepers...

I'm not too good at stitching... I figure I'll just have to get new jeans... so long as they're cute it'll be ok.

They do, I have one laying around somewhere but it didn't do very well so I took it off. I might sneak it back in somewhere. Or maybe not. haha :)
