Night is coming so rest my dear oh rest

All the fears my dear all the fears

The wolf howling the blood dripping without pause

Night is coming so rest my dear oh rest

The monsters out there want to hurt us

But they bit us, hush dear hush

Night is coming so rest my dear oh rest. 

You are brave and strong

For a mothers wrong I will keep you safe

As long as you stay

Night is coming so rest my dear oh rest

Take off your burdens and lay your head.

Why all your ancestors go to bed.

Night is coming so rest my dear rest

You shed no more tears and listen

With your ears. I see you dose off

As I touch your hair that's soft.

Night is coming so rest my dear rest.
