Working Day And Night

Verse 1

Tom always wakes up at the crack of dawn

He knows that he has a long day ahead of him

And just before he quietly goes out the door

He kisses his wife and kids goodbye

And says he loves them very much

He arrives at work and gets out of his truck

His boss says "Good morning, Tom. Get your a-s-s over here!"

He is handed a sheet of paper with tasks to complete

"How am I going to get these duties done?" 

Is what goes through his mind

Verse 3

Things could have been  different for Tom these days

Only is Sarah and him had finished high school

But they moved out on their own

And brought two kids into this world

He promised that he'd work hard

Now he's living up to it

He's working to earn every penny

He's tired but he keeps working
