You

You

A Poem by ghaw2007

You

Verse 1

I've given you what you've begged for

so why do you keep asking me for more?

I don't have anything that you need

I don't have anything that you want

Verse 2

I don't think you're funny

But that''s just my opinion

You might say that I have no sense of humour

But you act as if you don't have a brain

Verse 3

You're the kind of person that lives life in the fast lane

You race ahead thinking you're going to win

You've crashed and burned into trouble

And I won't try to rescue you

Chorus

Don't blame me for all the problems you have

I am not the one who caused any of them

Take the time to look into the mirror

Then you'll know who created this mess

It was you and only you

Now what are you going to do?
