Return To Me

Return To Me

Verse 1

Day after day, the grass keeps growing

As well as my sadness

Would you please cut it down?

Nothing is the same without you here

The sun is hiding and the moonlight is dim

From time to time we'd watch the sun rise

Since you've been gone, I wake up at sunset

The days are too stormy for me to handle

Even if I had a flash-light, I'd still be lost

Verse 2

It seems like the clouds won't disappear

If I could defy weather, they'd be gone

My life is like the trees that have fallen to the ground

I don't know how to lift it back up again

Verse 3

I hear the sounds of pittering and pattering

Maybe that's my heart yearning for you

I hear the sound of rumbling and roaring

They're getting closer and closer

Chorus

Return to me

The sky is grey

And rain is falling down

The wind is blowing

Come and wipe these tears from my eyes

Make me feel at home again
