All Your Yesterdays

All Your Yesterdays

A Poem by ghaw2007

All Your Yesterdays

Verse 1

Falling apart, getting back together

Many pieces were scattered, many are still missing

You stood straight up, you were dirty

Cleaned yourself, became happier

You are not the same anymore

Verse 2

You were used, you were interrupted

You are in from the cold

Now things are warming up

You can create new memories

Even if the old ones exist

All you have to do is try

Chorus 1

All your yesterdays are always with you

Tomorrow always brings something new

Your past is nearby but you're far ahead

Life moved on and you followed it

Chorus 2

All your yesterdays are always with you

Your past is nearby but you're far ahead

Today is unpredictable

Life moved on and you did the same as well
