Tear Down These Walls

Tear Down These Walls

Verse 1

Tear down these walls that surround your heart

I want to get to know the real you

When I look into your eyes there's a spark

But I don't know what it is exactly

Whatever it is, I want to know

Please don't be afraid of me

Maybe someday we'll be friends

Verse 2

Tear down these walls that surround your mind

There's no such thing as too much intelligence

There is no shame in being smart

You have a good head on your shoulders

But sometimes your mind is closed

Try to expand your way of thinking

Please don't be afraid of me

Maybe someday we'll be friends

Bridge

When I start to know you, I will trust you

Put your guard down

If you want to be honest

You have been missing chances to form bonds

You need to be true to yourself

Chorus 1

Tear down these walls

Let love enter your heart

You won't be able to connect with anyone on deeper levels

I know it's easier said than done

But you're going to have to try or you will be alone

For the rest of your life

So you need to make a choice now

Chorus 2

Tear down these walls

Let love enter your heart

You won't be able to connect with anyone on deeper levels
