Man (Just Do It)

Man (Just Do It)

Man (Just Do It)

Verse 1

You're taller, you're stronger, you're faster

It's incumbent on you to be wiser

The ways of the world rest on your shoulders

However heavy it may seem at times

Responsibility is expected of you

It's always in your face

You can't ignore it

Like a stampede of elephants in the center of town

Verse 2

You're always surrounded by supporters and villains

You'll be congratulated while others will throw shade

The power you generate and the power you exert

Will guarantee respect and the bending to your will

You can't be reckless in your position

If that occurs, your weaknesses will be exploited

Your odyssey will be in jeopardy

Verse 3

You're led to believe that boys don't cry

And when you come of age

You realize that fairy tales are glorified lies

Suppressing what you experience is not conducive

To a healthy state of mind

If balance is to be achieved

Senses must function properly

You don't have the luxury of dreaming

To being a robot

Everything will come down to the wire

And you'll be one decision away from demise

Bridge

There's no such thing as luck

What you get is what you receive

Be the author of a narrative

To which you subscribe to

When you're in control, you're always in demand

Chorus

You're a man, just do it

Don't waste your time with gossip or flakes

Walk like you've got a big d-ick

Look to the sky and reach for it

Be prepared to fight

To protect what you create, what you own

All eyes are on you

And every moment is yours to lose
