Lifestorm

Lifestorm

A Poem by Ghiasquared

In this tempest of my life,

Great pain and sadness seem to reign,

Can I trust the wind to bring no strife?

My struggle seems to be in vain

On the beaches of time the tide withdraws

I feel the yearning of the undertow

Memories of my children give me pause

Lessons of life I have tried to bestow

If only one wish could be granted

My desire of this I would begrudge

Peace for me and my life enchanted

Without the pain of my soul do not judge

Love the well structured stanzas and the rhyme scheme. :)
First stanza is great, it really draws the reader in and keeps them hooked.
