Lost in the storm

Lost in the storm

A Poem by Ghiasquared

I scream in pain.
can someone hear me?
Looking up through the rain,
Oh god why can't I see?

Someone show my the way.
I've been lost for so long.
Waiting for the brighter day.
What have I done so wrong?

Head falling into hands,
Tears streaming down cheeks,
Time is lost I have no sand,
My future dim and bleak.

The nightmare that I live,
is my own fault I know.
My heart open and ready to give,
Rain turning into snow

The cold I feel is always there,
The warmth of love so far away.
I'm an open book ready to share.
Come hold my hand today.

Tell me those words of strength.
Guide me through the dark and cold.
Given more time, I care not the length,
I will listen and rid memories of old.

Can someone hear me,
As I scream in pain?
Is this all I am to be?
Or is it fate calling my name?

I couldn't help but notice your rhyming scheme...very nice. I see you on top of a mountain, with the thunder and lightening flashing behind you, screaming.
