Preventing the pain

Preventing the pain

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Rage consumes reason in this war,
Mind overpowers the soul at times,
With cluttered paths at its core,
This is the havoc causing my crimes.

To know these torrid battles of mind,
One only needs to read my life's book,
The forked tongues of paths you find,
Shall not be clear but give a look.

My tree withers as seed grows,
They lead paths twisting with mine,
They will see pain that no one knows,
I save them from this with payment of time.

As I teach to children's deaf ears,
Mistakes I hope them to not make,
Showing scars from over the years,
Painful knowledge I hope they won't forsake.
