Dice of life

Dice of life

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Mist enshrouds my journeyed road,
Obscuring all but the best and the worst,
The Yin and Yang of my life's travels,
My epitaph one day to be engraved,

Resting upon a wayward knoll,
Temporary respite from frantic decision,
Confusion rules with wicked hand,
Thoughts of wasted past bury me,

Drifting into the nether regions of dreams,
Wishes unfulfilled are where I lie,
Sweet sorrow haunts my visions,
Awakened by realities cruel truths,

I lean upon my stave of travel,
Eyes awash from seas of grief,
Indecision rules my choosing,
Let me roll the dice for my fate...
