Hear my promise

Hear my promise

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Lay your weary head upon my pillow,
Rest your tired soul,
Close those pretty eyes and sleep,
I will watch over you tonight,

No matter the problems you face,
Daunting though they may be,
I am here to help you,
Tireless I will always be,

Though many do not abide their vows,
Mine were set in stone,
Our knot ties us forever,
And no one can come between,

No matter the pains endured,
I can promise this,
Our lives are bound in trust,
And our love will overcome.
