If you saw what i saw

If you saw what i saw

A Poem by trevor

If you saw what I saw

youd see happiness in words

eyes telling stories of ancient days

where you remember an older you

that you believed in

but yet you look in mine and see

the belief you had has not dissappeared

merely transferred to me

Love my dear, a hope or is it a song?

For i can hear you in every text you send

and everytime i try to mend

the broken heart youve left me beating with

but is it mine or shall it be yours?

im not sure what it shall endure

i believe our future could be forever.

can you hear the beat, beat, beat,

like the dancing of our feet at our wedding?

looking into the eyes of the sweet lalabyes

of the words that come out of lips as sweet as thee

and if you could feel the things i feel

youd fly up to the sky

in air balloons

hot air ballons

filled with butterflies

and you would fly to the sun

and see yourself

up on high

because this is what i dream of

when i look up and when i sigh

im letting go

of deeper pains

that you can only reconside

can you see the way i feel

i know that answer true

but if you could taste it

you would have the taste of chocolate

and strawberries

as we share them late at night

as you see the candlelight

and if you felt the things i felt, this would be on the moon

because the things i hear, you never hear

and waiting here, just waiting here

but you never come
