The Show Goes On

The Show Goes On

A Poem by Ian Gilmour

Words unsung
Echo through empty night
Under the careful eye of the moon;
The stage light of the Heavens,
Remaining vigilant
Long after production
Amid the dropping curtain
Of endless night
Pregnant with dawn, yet
Only in hope
Dwelling in the forgotten corners
Of memories fading
