A Simple Hug

When I was small there used to be

two loving arms wrapped 'round me. 

I'd fall asleep so warm, secure

and wake up feeling safe and sure.

Worth remembering every day. As time is but an illusion and we are it's masters, it moves forwards, backwards, stands still at our command. To go backwards is but our gift. The past is still ours. Always will be. It remains and endures the test of time, whether or not we choose acknowledge it. It all waits there for us, past, present, future. And we are sum total of experiences, every age, and every dream we've ever dreamed.
