Iciness will Thaw

Wintry rain adroit will lay

so casually on a leaf

until the air in icy stare

turns moisture to icy sheath.

Covered thus the leaves will stand

so bravely out from tree

'till the sunrise and the warm rise

so melting rain is free.

the rain starts it and the rain ends....it presents that moisture so the leaf can be covered with ice, and then thaws it later.
a lot like people...we shower them with affection, and then they become distant to us...later maybe more affection might melt us again.
