Spring Drips

Spring Drips

A Poem by Botania
"

one drop at a time

"
Imagine then the revelry
of drips that come just from a spring
soft and cool like downy feather
splashing on the leaves of leather

But break away and hold them fast
These are drops that e'er will last
baptizing us in love so pure
the earth cries out for star's allure.

A rock emerges from the deep
pool of blue that laps my feet
I'll not wonder what it's for
but come to know you, ...wanting more.

spring is a gradual warmth....loving another is a gradual warm up, just the same.
but as in spring, we find ourselves wanting more.
