The Wet Grass

The Wet Grass

A Poem by Botania
"

.

"
Field of green you do astound
Greenness, greenness all around
I close my eyes and all that is
will give us life to live again.
Damp with dew your stalks remain
Wet with drops that we call rain.
Shining 'neath a sun so old
Ancient beauty, site behold!

i know this is about nature...and it is beautiful, but i related in a different way....i couldn't help thinking of the time i walked through the tunnel and then into the expanse of Fenway Park in Boston...all the green was so astounding...every shade of green, deep and dark and amazing...i was blown away.

and that was a beautiful day, so above was a crisp, clear halcyon sky.

Clear and crisp, evidence of just being cared for. Thank you so much.

The whole world seems to be singing. Know what you're talking about. It's magical. :)
