Piano my Muse

Piano my Muse

Plaintive notes
draw me close
repetitive
and languid lived
roll like wind upon the grass
filling, trilling, abyss, morass
feel the longing, power there
know the rolling thunder blare
tumultuous, crashing, round in blur
taking asking emote incur
swaying fashion summon earth
Giving taking stone and trail
no sense at all, laugh, oh well.
Run beneath a setting sun
before the melody is done
Run so far so field so fast
delay each note and make it last.
