Winters love

Winters love

A Poem by Lydia Waldock

Artful pain as the frost sparkles across the dirty cars
Gulping down cold air, fresh in the lungs
Cloudy grey skies and yellow bright suns
On days were scarves and gloves aren't warm enough
We'll laugh in the snow and dance in the space between us
Dark days end short and your hand is in mine
steaming cups of hot chocolates and smiles
I'm in love with this winter love
Stay inside with me and be mine
