Earth, Air, Fire, and Water

Earth, Air, Fire, and Water

A Poem by Dylan Cook

Blessed Earth, air fire and water
Flow together like mating lovers
Bending like several rolling rivers
Of water, earth, air and burning fire

Earth helps us center and grounds us
Helps us find our true, divine purpose
It helps us grow without too much fuss
Embracing the light for which we lust

The light is the fire that helps us survive
It keeps us warm and makes us feel alive
It's the life force from which we derive
Our strength and will to live and to dive

Into the nurturing blue water of the oceans
Reconnecting with the feminine emotions
Connecting with our intuitive selves and notions
So we can avoid the traps of hate and destruction

Definitely a strong statement on how valuable our Earth is. Very nicely done. My favorite line is "Flow together like mating lovers."
