Why cant anyone hear me

I'm in the dark

The pitch black dark

But I'm not hiding

Just tallying the days till someone finds me

I wonder how loud I will have to scream

For them to finally hear me

I sense a small frightened child crying out for help here. Sadly no one is listening. Darkness can be terrifying for a child.
