Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
the urishi tree

the urishi tree

A Poem by gram linski

( underneath )
the urishi tree
-
the deafening sound of
            silent bell     -     the     end
-
self preservation from the inside
            nuts and berries feeding favour
and meditations all hungry and blue
            every drop of moisture
                           tears     blood     sweat     piss
absorbed and exhaled
            sealed vacuum of thought
                            of transcendental tooth
                                                        of mind
skin tightens becomes leather
                  bones like stone
and the diamond sutra
            frozen on tongue
( earth pressing by the tonne )
a bone of regret and enlightenment
            both chewing the other's tail
in a circle of flesh
                  and feeling
                     and missed flesh
                                         and bone
and suffocating black square mind
            at peace            at last
the dedication of preservation
            faith unwinds
as the echo of a bell
                             dies
            and I become pine, inert
a lost pagan wooden god
            and smile     and take root
                  as my hand slips
                                     from the rope
                                ( condensation blues )
the chill            cold            knowledge

eyes closed            -            I    sing
I hear the last reminder of bells
chime     chime     chime
            underneath the urishi tree /
understanding in hand
            keeping life at bay
knife  fresh opened wound, flapped skin
                a drop
               a bleed
    dehydrated oxygen blues
the vacuum of no god
            coughs up dust
and finally I see
my hand slips from the twisted torque
and finally I sing
             the silence of the sound
                      immaculate, ( silence )
geckos lay eggs within my soul
            resonance dies in
 the wind
            and I am free

About
Caged In An Animal's Mind Caged in an animal's mind; No wish to be more or else Than I am; a smile and a grief Of breath that thinks with its blood, Yet straining despite; unsure In my stir .. more..
