How to catch ghosts

How to catch ghosts

A Poem by gram linski
"

see above and below,

"
how to catch ghosts,
-
all you need is the key,
hahahaheeheehee
-
to be found in the book of
 revelations
and whisky and gin and fog at
moon - time - mid - night
unlock the roar of sea spirits and foam
unlock the sigh of trees
shake the skeleton tree
               the crow tree
                     dead tree
-
                                   singing
-
in a howling moon
                               -    singing
-
chasing lost ribbons of dreams
through storms and distress
-
a voice in the night
whispering
crying
giving nutrients of soul
giving strength through tearless
fearless godless dried tears
-
find a door / a portal
 - the
egress points will find you,
-
insert the hard wood heart of the
-
           tree of life
into spaces unknown, and turn
                                            left
-
you will catch them in their
         hugs and smiles of welcome
   and recognition.

You start out with a belligerent & sassy attitude, depicting ghosts in ways I never would've imagined. The height of originality, as I enjoy in all your writing. But again I'm surprised when you turn the corner into a more introspective & philosophical pondering (after that raucous opening), possibly showing that ghosts are mere portals into whatever madness already exists within the mind (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Each time I read your poetry Gram, I am paused in awe! This is magnificent, as always. You have such a wonderful talent of description and metaphor, superb :) The more we gaze into the known and unknown, we do find those ghosts like to roam within and without :) I absolutely love this piece :)
