time

time

A Poem by Rachel DeHart

I am killing time

burning this “candle”

at both ends. I do not want

to keep this up.

when we are together,

it is easy to forget

that most of the time

I      hate    a lot more than I let on.

hate enough about myself

to fuel anything.

please something

come crashing down.

because time isn’t the only

thing I want to be abusing.

i don't know why you don't LOVE this because i absolutely do...it's like when things are going right, we're waiting for them to go wrong because that's what we're used to. that's what we're comfortable with.

really great job!

You may not, but I like it.

I liked this the best:
"please something
come crashing down.
because time isn't the only
thing I want to be abusing."
