Gravity

A Poem by Gravity

What a beautiful thought it is to realize that this is my planet, you just so happened to live in it. There are some days that it pains me that you are with her and no longer with me, but then I remember that the universe is on my side. You were no longer serving me, and were swiftly removed from my orbit. I can’t ask questions as to why it had to happen this way, but if I had to guess I’d say that you and I would have kept going forever until one of us found something real. Me? I am not ready to find him yet. I still have more growing, more learning, more moving to do. But you? I suppose it was your time. Our explosion happened. We collided and created a beautiful explosion in the night sky. And now we go back to being separate planets, revolving around different suns, being drawn in by another gravity.
