Illumination

 

You came from out of the darkness

Like a bolt of white hot lightning

Engulfing me in the brightness

And the power of your love

 

Re-energizing that which was lost

And healing that which was broken

Showering me with love and affection

That forever changed my life

 

But alas...

 

Out of the darkness you came

And into the darkness you returned

Leaving me with the fire in my heart

As the only illumination against darkness.

You write so well but I'm sorry for all your sadness, I know where you are coming from...been there myself... several times. That too, is why I write, it's very cathartic
