Emptiness

Emptiness

A Poem by grayhaven

As the storms of life swirl around about me

There is another one brewing deep down inside

A whirlwind of hurt and of anger and of confusion

That is slowly eroding away the very core of my being

The core of who and of what I am until nothing of me

remains and I become just an empty shell of a man

Your poem touches so our humanity in very strong and meaningful words.
In your emptiness His fullness comes.

Mickey, you are so much more than the pain, anger and angst you feel inside, let that part of you shine through the dark so your real soul and heart breaksthrough the dark. Your friend...Anne

So very poignant that it tugs at my heart strings. Keep on penning.
