Lost

Lost

A Poem by M.K. Jawdat

How hard it becomes sometimes
To express
Lost
In the swirls of uncertainty

Foggy visioned eyes
Searching for a sign
Of sanity
In the preview
Of nonplussed emotions

As it flies by
Angel of desires
Hard we strive
To touch it's wings
But leaves us wondering
Alone
On the threshold of life

I like the slant rhyme of eyes and sign you use in the second stanza and the word choice of "nonplussed". I thought it was really unique, maybe expand on it a little bit more!
