You looked so sad, as I sat there by your side
I wanted to cheer you up, but you just sat and cried

You didn't know I was there as I stared at your beautiful face
I watch you everyday, looking down from my special place

I know you don't believe I'm here but, baby, it is true
Everyday I wish I could reveal myself to you

If I were you I'd do the same, cry and sulk and scream
But you have to move on, go out and live your dream

If I had a choice I would have chosen to stay
But God decided it was time, and things tend to go his way

You will join me, child, one day you'll see
And don't you worry, for I'm with God to live eternally
