I loved your hair, short and blonde

I loved your smile, rare but cute

I loved the way you limped around

Your broken ankle in a big gray boot

I loved your glasses 

I loved your eyes

I loved the way you used me as a pillow when you were tired

I loved the way you wrapped your arms around my waist 

I loved many things about you and almost everything you said

But nothing lasts forever, and now that love is dead.
