Who

Who

A Poem by Gwenthy

I made my gaze roam around
then I saw people giggling aloud
voice of mirth in here surrounds
as people watch him, a fair young clown.

   Behind those shades of colors
lying in his pale face of glamour
and gay style of hair people adores
is a grieving man, out of control.

   Standing outside the venue
is a man in uniform of white and blue
   day and night he secures
the land for me and you.

   Yet who will guard him,
a brave young guard of vim?
who will make that lone clown
laugh and own a joyous crown?

There's the moon, hearing your cries
with non-ceasing pain amid your eyes
yet who will listen to her lovely stories
of how she loves the sun endlessly?

If you became a hero of many
who do you think would save you
   in times of tragedy?
