Plus or Minus?

Plus or Minus?

A Poem by gypsyrose

I’ve seen spirals, missiles, wishes,
crystals, microscopic comet pistols,
ancient alien encrypted symbols,
and futuristic virtual gag gizmos.
I’ve seen multi-colored dimensions.
I still have the box I kept them in.
I know galactic lessons, spastic guessing and drastic destiny.
I’m close with aliens, and light waves.
They’re afraid of what you’ll ask and what I might say.
I’ve seen atoms swirl around an orbit.
I’ve painted this morbid portrait…
with every single color but no lines,
just clouds and blocks and shapes and dots:
designs.
I published the masterpiece as “What Is Life?”
and scholars studied quickly to define it.
They search for all the answers, it is priceless;
I just sit back and watch them plus and minus.
