Go Searching

If someone inspires you,

If they pull the strings of your heart

and shift the walls of your mind

If they make you think things you never thought before

It could be as simple as

a reminder

that you’re alive, that you exist.

But they gave you a piece of themselves

So I think you owe them

To think about why it sunk so deep within you,

And then go find it.


When you do,

and when you’re ready

You can take that piece that has become a part of you

You can share it with someone,

So that they too, have a reason to go searching.
