I know the pain i feel at night,
I know the shame and fear and fright,
I know the feeling of love and lost,
I know what my pain will cost.
My words are hidden in the night
My smile fades in the light
My song is heard by the light of day
You'll never hear the words i say
I sing of sorrow, love and pain
I sing my heart out, it keeps me sane
The darkness of light and the midnight sun
Listen up please, my days are done
I forgave the past, future and present
I forgave it all, my angels are sent

I loved how this piece went from sorrow in the beginning to a peaceful calm at the end. This piece speaks to me of life itself, and how the actions and words of the everyday and measured and weighed by the heavens, but in the end, the time we have on Earth might end and we have make sure our souls are ready.
