The Beach

The Beach

A Poem by Wynter Stinehome
"

a really bad poem i wrote in 6th grade that got published in a book with some other young poets!

"

The whisper in the wind,

The smell of salt water,

Sun in your eyes,

Sand in your feet,

The romance,

Water in your ears,

Roasting marshmallows,

The campfire,

Fish swimming,

Dolphins diving,

Kite flying,

Waves that help you sleep.

It may be old, but the images are truly rich.
Gives a sense of sweet nostalgia. Good job.

This is not a bad poem. It's got great imagery, and you use a lot of the senses in the poem. How could you say this is bad writing?

Especially since it was written in 6th grade; that's a lot of talent, love. Good job! I loved it. ^_^

No, it's very soothing actually. Very well done for someone so young. I could imagine everything. Very lovely.

I don't think it's bad at all.
And to be in the sixth grade with that kind of command of the language...
It was very sweet, absolutely precious. :)
