Are you always using soy sauce for every Chinese stir-fry you have made? Or Teriyaki sauce maybe?  Well we know the sauce makes all the difference, and here’s a simple trick that is guaranteed to make your favorite stir-fry stand out: the oyster sauce.

It can be purchased at most Grocery Stores, usually in the Asian part with soy sauce, rice and other Asian foods. It is also available online, on Amazon and other online stores.

To Use it

It is best when used on vegetables, and mostly for lettuce, broccoli and mushrooms.

Recipe:

1.      Wash and cut the broccoli

2.      Boil water in a pot, add some salt

3.      Boil the broccoli for 2 min, and place them in a plate

4.      Heat in another skillet 2tbsp Oyster sauce, 1tsp water, 1tsp soy sauce and 1tsp sugar, cook for 30 second after content is boiling

5.      Pour the sauce from skillet to broccoli

Want More Flavors?Try it with Garlic or chicken stock

If you want to enhance the favors, try to add some garlic to the sauce. Just heat some oil on the skillet, add garlic, cook for 1 min and then add oyster sauce. Chicken stock could be added to enhance favor too.

Try it on your next stir-fry!
