A pursuit to atleast live

We pretend to be happy even in the state of sadness
We run around the world in pursuit of that one happiness
We killed our childhood always wanting to grow
Childhood was the best time, little did we know
How the lives has changed dreaming throughout for money and fame
I guess few will admit, the feelings in our heart are still the same
Why dont we pursue what gives an utmost feeling of joy
Even a new born child plays only with his favourite toy
Life would be so peaceful if we do what we love
I wonder how that will be possible without one willing move
Writing this doesnt means i am any different
Just saying truth to myself, dont wana be resilient
Not sure if this would have any impact on my own life
Thought to pick up a pen where the world is busy with guns and knife
