ABCs to seek the meaning

ABCs to seek the meaning

A Poem by Hannah Estar
"

A questioning of the logic of man... in ABC poem format! (for a contest) ;)

"

A soft whisper in the night
Buzzing through my mind
Can I find the words to write?
Do they see or are they blind?

Everyone knows the cost of war
Final chaos, forgotten love
God and blood on a foreign shore
How did they ever think thereof?

If man can find the meaning,
Just a small and simple reason,
Kill and die, what is this thing?
Love and peace, are these treason?

Men fight for glory; men fight for right.
Not one can explain the cause.
O! Where did it come from, this awful fright?
Please tell me, where the inception was!

Quit the violence! Quit the torture!
Run to save and not to murder!
Save your loved ones, save Theirs too.
To make peace… is what all ought to do!

Under pressure, will you yield?
Vines of lies try to streal veracity
Where war came from, not one revealed.
X out this pitiless atrocity!

Yet through the crying, no one hears;
Zillions of terrors, uncountable tears.
