In Between

In Between

A Poem by hardeep sabharwal

In between

Somewhere between 'Yes' and 'No',
There must be lying something,
'Yes', which is reflection of goals,
Of emerging hopes,
Of certainties,
With a devotion of love,
Filling life with positiveness,
And 'No', a symbol of,
Rebel,
Of disagreed characters rising,
With in the personalities,
A refusal
To walk on old patterns,
And a search for new values,
'Yes' and 'No' are like two sides of coins,
But still I am standing,
Somewhere between yes and no,
Neither surrendering,
Nor rebelling,
Wandering in this new dimension,
In caverns of depressions .

That's incredibly expressed, Hardeep.
Standing in between a two sides of a same coin and in depressions.
I liked the way you started your poem describing the two sides and what to pointed and ending with your state of mind or rather the heart of the poem "In Between".
