What Would You Do

What would you do
 for love? I ask myself.
Love makes you do
the craziest things to yourself.
         
Roses are red, flesh turns purple
like the bruises made by
the fist and hand of a man or woman.
Which calibrates the fact that the human
species is complex and hard to understand.

When giving someone a rose,
are you giving it for love and beauty
or for its pain from a thorny figure
that sticks your flesh in vain. 

Its a good and painful side
to love I suppose.
Like its a good and thorny side
to a rose.

So its better to have
the feeling of love and lust,    
then to be dead inside
and have the full feeling
of open nothingness.

A rose is a symbol of love and beauty, for love also can be painful as that like a rose

We all have those intentions all the time and it is better to have noble and material ones than be cold and empty inside without any feelings to our beloved. And whatever we offer them it should be a symbol of our love and feelings towards them...
I know where you can get a dozen roses ( Lol ) just kidding at the last part only...

A rose has thorns to protect itself not necessarily to cause pain, sometimes love hurts, I like your analogies in here, personally I think love and lust should walk hand in hand with each other, and should not involve bruises :( though many times it does. imho

but don't if you touch a thorn of the rose will it still not hurt as all things beautiful and look harmless can cause pain like you've known this person as harmless their whole life but they surprise you when you see them on the news as being a serial killer like a person using a weapon to protect themselves will this not hurt. thanks for your thoughts
