A Poem by Khaaki

The tempest makes me ponder,

Over my love that lies yonder…

Across the irksome river,

Shivering with fury…

And so weary,

And withered is my ferry…

How shall my heart not go awry!

As I see the drunk river roar by…

My vows entice my spring,

But my fears are tempting …

O’ Khaaki leap forth,

Fake not that you are sane...

The hearts drowned in love,

Can never sink again…

~ oh, this is AMAZING...!!!

~ yes, yes, yes... they cannot sink again... :)

aandhiyaan sochne par majboor karti hain
us paar meri mohabbat hai
gusse mein behti nadi
kaanpti hai

thakaan hai
meri kashti murjha si gayi hai
aise mausam mein dil kyun na behke
is nadi ke nashe mein choor hoon
mere vaade mere haseen mausam ko pukarte hain

dar se dar jaata hoon
apne junoon ko pukarta hoon
nahin sambhalna chaahta mein
ishq mein dooba hoon
ab koi dariya nahin jismein dobara doob sakoon

~ i apologize for my high school level urdu... :P ~ maaf kar deejiyega, haseeb... :)
